Thursday, May 24, 2012 Test Match   Played against Malaysia team in a test match today. We won! 26-21 Another example of a different set of mentality. I am not obsess with the western but there's always something good to learn from. The loosing side was carrying the country's name and I understand the pride and pressure they have to care. But discipline is very important too otherwise we are just putting a shame on our flag. There was a small brawl, and the national player was the one who started it. Nobody's provoking nobody but he just snapped. So there you go. I guess he's not gentleman enough for rugby.   On the other hand, was not really perform as I am recovering from few 'arts' from the last game. So it was a 50-50. These are some of it. Malaysia will be playing in the HSBC 5 Nations for division 2 this coming Wednesday in Kelana Jaya Stadium. Sorry for the long delay. Been very very busy making myself look busy (nyehehehe). Those who don't know, this is me with the Prince Cup. It's a tradition cup between my new club and another local club. Yep, just two clubs and this is done annually. For your info, we have been on the loosing side for 4 consecutive years. This was our fifth attempt and it was my first attempt. We won!   To add more to the victory, there were some of my former teammates playing for the opponent. Frankly speaking, I don't plan on disclosing about my migration. But, HIS plan is always the best. A senior player of my position is not available and coach have only me for replacement (not many can play multiple position). They witnessed it with their own eyes. Alhamdulillah, I performed well. Honestly, I don't really feel appreciated after playing for them for 10 years. It's fine to not to appreciate but never never put down on people, ever. I have my own class and I don't need to proof that to 'em. (how is it being benched by your own people and given a trust to play by a different people for another side of the world)   What more, there is obvious gap between these two mentality. It's either negative or positive and how you perceive the situation. for example: Situation: a player make an intentional fault to prevent from a Try/score Mentality A: that's stupid and no discipline. player should be punished (no injury involved) Mentality B: I see what u did there. It's a professional-fault. At least they don't get any Try. Good job mate.   We shouldn't play a blaming game in our own team. Made a couple more new friends. Gonna have another match this weekend, so I really need to catch-up real fast with them. The reason why I am changing club lies on my passion towards rugby. I just need a place to play pure rugby. We have enough channels to play politic so lets leave rugby alone. If they wanna play politic, let them be. I've had enough worries on the list to add another one.   So with that, it would be better to leave. Kinda happy coz I got my back supported all the way.
